Week 7 – AI Saas Build Journey Recap
The daily grind is real. But now, we’re shifting to weekly recaps as we move deeper into this SaaS journey. Here’s what went down this week:
Monday: No progress. After a full day at Extendly, I didn’t have the energy to work on the SaaS after hours. (Reminder: this build happens nights & weekends only.)
Tuesday: Attended a local networking mixer with my wife. Met the Chamber of Commerce president, city manager, and other local business owners. Great connections made. Thinking about joining the Chamber once we get our first 10 clients fully onboarded.
Wednesday: Followed up via email with all the new contacts from the mixer. Building local relationships is key for long-term growth.
Thursday: Had a follow-up demo scheduled, but the prospect got busy and rescheduled for next week. (Part of the game – staying persistent.)
Friday: One of our new clients completed onboarding through Extendly’s White Label onboarding team. They raved about the experience – “amazing” was their exact word. Now we’re moving them into the next steps.
Takeaway: Even with limited hours, small consistent actions keep momentum alive. Relationships matter – online AND offline.
On to Week 8.
